Facebook was initially an excellent platform for the Mediafeeder project, but many changes have been implemented over the subsequent years which have resulted in many headaches. Facebook Rights Manager has resulted in a lot of time wasted arguing about promo videos being exempt from copyright, quite despite the actual claims focusing on revenue, not rights.
The senseless platform change from Videos to Reels and the unreliable state of many important platform features are also becoming a massive point of frustration.
We will continue to publish videos on our main Facebook page but it won't be as regular. We are considering stopping the publishing of videos at the end of the year. Our website will then become the main focus of operations but you can follow the Mediafeeder.net Facebook page which is not plagued with pointless rights claims and ties directly into our website. Updates will still be infrequent on Facebook as we no longer value what it offers.
