About Parricide
Parricide is a significant part of the Czech death metal scene, originating from Jihlava. The band was formed in 1992 and quickly gained attention for its technical and intricate style of death metal. The band has released two albums: “The Threnody For The Tortured” in 1997 and “Incidents In The Extinct Spot” in 1999. In 2018, they re-released these albums, which was a major event for fans. The band also recorded a demo, “The Book Remains Open,” in 1996. Parricide are known for their energetic live performances and technical precision. Their music is often described as “unorthodox death metal” due to its originality and innovative approach.
